Neal 'Bucko' Buckoke

Notorious sab Neal Buckoke has enthusiastically jumped on the trend of "start your own sab group" and, while he associates with the Hunt Saboteur Association (HSA), he is quick to criticise them. Bucko's words only reaffirm what BTM already suspects about the increasingly splintered saboteur world.

Buckoke knows he has created many an enemy with the legal trail hunters he hollers at, but what BTM assume he doesn’t know is that he has plenty of enemies within the animal rights sphere.

To the hunting community, Buckoke is a familiar – yet angry – face. In 2023 he was filmed abusing a follower of a Devon-based trail hunt. Shouting at the man driving past, Buckoke makes incorrect assumptions about his class, saying he "f**king hates rich c**nts like you" and calls the man an "upper-class little c**nt", among other horrible insults.

Once again, Buckoke has proved that sabs are motivated by nothing other than class-related hatred and extremist anti-etsbalishment views - and undoubtedly not by a love for animals.

Anti-vaccination conspiracy theorist

As well as being a prolific hunt saboteur, Buckoke is a fervent anti-establishment conspiracy theorist. He enjoys spreading disinformation and conspiracy theories on Facebook, with anti-vaccination content featuring particularly prominently during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

And these are not his only alarming social media posts. Buckoke has posted videos platforming alleged rapist Russel Brand. He has also defended the autocratic states of Iran, China and Russia. He recently told one of our sources that he isn’t a saboteur because of a hatred for the upper-class, yet he leaves a digital trail behind that suggests otherwise.

The Dorset Borders Hunt Saboteurs

Towards the end of 2025, Buckoke and a few like-minded sabs formed the South Wessex Hunt Saboteurs. The newly formed group claimed that "there weren’t enough sab groups" around, but it seems pretty obvious to us that Bucko is hungry for power, like most sab leaders around the country. One thing BTM and Bucko can agree on is the lack of effectiveness of Dorset sab groups in the local area. Quite why Bucko believes saboteurs moving from one group to another will increase their collective manpower is beyond us.

The newly formed group joined the HSA last month, but under a different name to the one they had originally formed under. They are now recognised as the ‘Dorset Borders Hunt Saboteurs’. We can only assume the HSA found some copyright issue. But, we weren't aware that the HSA was so concerned with the law.

Buckoke’s hidden enemies lie within the very organisation he used to associate with: Weymouth Animal Rights (W.A.R). One member told our source that Buckoke is  “Gobby and stupid”. According to our source, notorious sab Gill Rayner and Buckoke hate each other with a passion. We think we know why: In 2024, Gill Rayner split up with his now ex-fiancé Debbie Hayati. She has recently re-emerged near the top of the Dorset Borders Sabs hierarchy.

Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival

Bucko was spotted repping a Hunt Saboteur Association flag and a Palestine flag at the festival. Yet later that weekend came his critical comments about the HSA. BTM suspects Bucko is caught in two minds, or perhaps he's simply gone barmy—it seems to be an infectious trait within the saboteur community.

Labour MP Neil Duncan-Jordan was also seen at the festival. Their appearance at the same event is unlikely to surprise those familiar with their public campaigning interests. Whilst the Sabs are chaotic in the field, their hero, Mr Duncan-Jordan creates bedlam in Parliament: he was disgraced and suspended from the Labour party last year, before later having the whip restored. BTM wonders whether it’s a mere coincidence that Bucko, Duncan-Jordan and the Communist party were in close proximity at the festival. We suspect not!

Support for criminals

Buckoke has an open hatred of the police and supports criminal behaviour as a means to achieve so-called 'animal liberation' - a position held by many hardcore saboteurs.

Violent language

Buckoke regularly posts inflammatory and bullying content online, often using rude, violent, and offensive language. Hunt supporters are the regular target of his poorly-written tirades.
