Shardana has clearly little better to do than abuse hunts and spread disinformation. In November last year, she was caught trespassing on private land under the standard sab-pretence that foxes were being illegally hunted. Once again, this was not the case.
Fortunately, landowners were able to calmly escort Shardana off their land, although she was not prepared to leave without a fight.
In a last-ditch attack on hunt supporters, Shardana made the apparently unfounded, underhand allegation that the landowner’s son was a “rapist”. In fact, he just did not want her trespassing on his land and made polite, calm requests for her to leave. In anger, she then physically assaulted him in a fit of rage, as the video below shows.
Sexual violence is of course no trivial matter and allegations of this nature should not be thrown about for effect or to score political points.
A year ago, Shardana once again showed her true colours, deciding to drive her sabmobile across private land, ruining farmers' fields and then getting her car stuck. When confronted, she then unreasonably resorted to hate speech once again, claiming that the onlooker filming "suffered from mental problems":
Just as concerningly, Shardana has become a recruiting officer for the hunt saboteur movement, taking to YouTube in a likely bid to attract young, impressionable minds to her cause. Her video, ‘How to Become a Hunt Sab’, has been viewed over 200 times and she encourages her views to “got out [sabbing] as much as you can”.
Sabs are no strangers to hate speech and slanderous allegations. Only recently, Behind the Masks received homophobic abuse from an account by the pseudonym “Jack Wall”:
Sabs’ emotions frequently boil over into extreme hate speech and threats. Marc Shaw is a particularly worrying case: only recently, he threatened to kill an innocent hunt-master during a legal trail hunt, after which he was arrested.
But seemingly unevidenced rape accusations aren’t the only conspiracy theory Shardana is peddling...
The COVID-19 pandemic famously shook the world and claimed thousands of lives – particularly in Italy. With the situation so dire there, the country introduced the Covid Green Pass to help prevent the spread of the novel, deadly virus and, ultimately, save lives. The Pass was used to monitor the safe influx of tourists and travellers; it was removed in May 2022 as the virus began to subside.
Despite the Italian government’s measured and hopeful introduction of the Green Pass, for Shardana, this was apparently an example of fascism equating to the mass genocide of Jews in the holocaust:
The comparison of a café following reasonable law to Nazi death-camps is more than deeply distressing – it’s beyond the pale, dishonouring generations of victims out of nothing more than petty, self-entitled delusion.
Her twisted ideology may have been nurtured by her sab-husband, Sid Thomas, whose own Facebook page is another treasure trove of delusion.
One video, which Thomas shared, promotes the mystifying idea that cooperation between the public and private sectors, as espoused by the United Nations, is the beginning of a fascist new world order, unifying all countries into one and controlling all members of society in cramped cities via artificial intelligence.

But for those who wish to remain firmly planted in the real world, it is clear Shardana and Thomas are a match made in heaven. We can only hope that they will stop harassing others with their extreme, irrational ideologies.
