Lynne Ann Graham

Updated: May 28

Name: Lynne Ann Graham

Location: Northumberland

Affiliations: Director of Northumberland Watch, North East Hunt Monitors

In 2004, Lynne Anne Graham first appeared on the North East Chronicle as the owner of Pandora’s Box, an extreme sex-shop in Westoe Road, South Shields. In a trial before the South Tyneside magistrates court concerning her illegal refusal to pay £4500 for a sex-shop license, Graham tried to claim that her leather bondage whips were only sold to horse riders. Perhaps this is where her fixation with hunting and animal activism had its irreverent beginnings.

Before her self-appointed career in animal activism, Graham also engaged in some highly questionable political activity, which would only come to haunt her some years later: she ran as a BNP candidate in the 2010s.

Most evidence of Graham's involvement with the BNP has since been scrubbed off the internet, although traces will always remain. An image of West Park local government Ward elections from the 6 May 2010 show Graham’s first bid for local authority. Fortunately, she lost – but once wasn’t enough. A report by the Community Security Trust further evidences Graham’s secondary loss as BNP candidate for the same role one year on, on 5 May 2011.

Involvement with the BNP, a party known for its racism bigotry, hovers gloomily behind its bygone supporters. Unsurprisingly many of Graham’s saboteur friends have not taken kindly to her BNP past.

In early 2022, once an aggressive and active member of the North East Hunt Monitors, Graham was outed publicly on Facebook for being a covert BNP supporter, causing uproar within the North East sab camp. Her fellow sabs took this information rather personally, insisting that sabs do not condone fascism or the like. The North East Hunt Monitors were only further appalled when, in response to being notified, Lynne even tried to blame her fellow sab compatriots.

One failed redemption attempt later, Graham has resurfaced once more after her disappointing outing with the NE Hunt Monitors – this time as the Director of the Northumberland Hunt Watch, a curious position for someone with such an unethical past.
