Richardson, who runs the Brook Farm Animal Sanctuary at Raunds, Northampton, has been pictured utilising a classic sab tactic of calling hounds off the trail with a horn. Richardson has disavowed the sabs’ aim of protecting wildlife by doing this on and around roads – massively endangering the hounds to oncoming traffic.
In December 2021, South Coast Sab Watch published a photo of Richardson allegedly attacking a horse. Even in the unlikely event of him only handling the horse, rather than attacking it, the animal is clearly in distress and Richardson is alarming it and the rider. If this is a pattern of his, it certainly is not one that sides with pro-animal rights. Sabs can’t take the view that the horses are to be punished, as several have been shown to do.
