Violent thug: Dennis is notorious for violently attacking people without cause.
On December 18 2021, Dennis viciously attacked 81-year-old pensioner, Richard de Pelet, when he helpfully picked up her camera lens that she had dropped. This shocking footage shows an explosive and completely baseless attack. Dennis lunged forwards towards Mr. de Pelet and grabbed the camera lens from his hand, then scything it down onto his head with frightening force. Mr. de Pelet then collapsed.
Mr. Dominic Brittan chaired the trial at the Magistrates Court, and ordered her to pay £100 of compensation to Mr. de Pelet, a fine of £225, a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services, and £600 of cost on a charge of assault. Mr. de Pelet is relieved that justice has been brought to Dennis, but he remains emotionally scarred by her actions, as anyone would expect an elderly man involved in an individual’s blitzkrieg to be. A spokesperson for the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt said:
“For many rural people, particularly the more elderly, following hounds while trail hunting remains an important social activity and can be one of limited avenues of interaction in more isolated areas of the countryside."
Not only has this assault ruined his comfort in social situations, but now Mr. de Pelet fears reprisals from the sabs as they know where he lives – the thoughtless and quick actions of an aggressive and mindless individual destroying the life of an 81-year-old. What value has she ever added to society?
More footage has emerged of Dennis pursuing her tactics of aggressive assault, from the Mappowder area, Dorset, on Saturday 21 October, where she is seen assaulting the landowner who politely asked her to go back to the public footpath. Having allegedly punched the landowner in the face before other hunt members started filming, she went onto ruck the landowner and smash him bodily into a quadbike whilst shouting abuse. This recent attack has spurred members of the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt to invest in body cameras for their future safety.
